Speaker manufacturers choose different types of permanent magnets to suit different sizes speaker and achieve the best sound quality.

1. Sintered Neodymium Magnet suits for mid-range loudspeaker. High coercivity, remanence and magnetic energy product, it reduces speaker volume.

Not high working temperature, rusty easy, high cost.

2. Ferrite Magnet suits for low frequency loudspeaker.

3. Samarium Cobalt Magnet is often used on high-end speaker because of expensive.
