Anisotropic magnet-wet process
Ferrite magnet / Hard Ferrite Magnet / Ceramic Magnet were created as a cheap alternative to metallic magnets, however these are relatively weak compared to Neodymium Magnet.

Pros: Ferrite magnets or Hard Ferrite or Ceramic magnets are very cheap and can operate at very high temperatures of 80-250 degrees Celsius. It has good resistance against demagnetization and corrosion, and is usually used outdoors.

Cons: Ferrite / Ceramic magnets are brittle and easy to break. It is also very heavy and low in strength.

Bottomline: Ferrite / Ceramic magnets are what you need if you don't need super strong magnets and are on a tight budget.


Production

After goods inwards inspection, the raw materials (mainly ironoxide and strontium carbonate) are weighed, blended, pre-sinteredand ground to a fine powder with crystals. For isotropic magnets.the raw material is consequently pressed. There are two pro-cedures in the production of anisotropic magnets. 

Firstly, the raw material is dried and then pressed in a magnetic field (drypressing). 

Secondly, the raw material is wet pressed under theinfluence of a magnetic field (wet pressing); the pressing is fol-lowed by sintering, finishing and cleaning. 

The surface can bemachined, marked, magnetized or coated to customerrequirements.
