Hard Sintered Round Ferrite Magnet  

Ferrite Disc Magnet is a type of round coin-shaped Ferrite magnet of varying diameter and thickness.  It is one of the most cost-effective magnetic materials.  It has a fair to good resistance toward corrosion and it can operate in moderate heat.

Ferrite Disk Magnets can be fixed in place using adhesive or can be pushed into circular drilled holes in wood or plastic. Ferrite as a material has a very good resistance to corrosion and has a high maximum operating temperature making it a very versatile magnetic material. Ferrite magnet discs are commonly used in fridge magnets and for craft making.  

The working temperatur of Ceramic Magnet is between the working temperatures of Neodymium Magnet and SmCo magnet/AlNiCo magnet. They have lower energy than NdFeB, SmCo and Alnico magnets.  

Ceramic or Hard Ferrite Magnet comes in discs, cylinders, rings, blocks, arcs/segment, ball and ellipses etc. Magnetic ceramics, oxide materials that exhibit a certain type of permanent magnetization called ferrimagnetism. Commercially prepared magnetic ceramics are used in a variety of Permanent Magnet, transformer, telecommunications, and information recording applications. 

Ferrite Permanent Magnets are hard & brittle, and they can chip or break if dropped or snapped together, so please take special care when handling these magnets!
