Ferrite Disk Magnets can be fixed in place using adhesive or can be pushed into circular drilled holes in wood or plastic. Ferrite as a material has a very good resistance to corrosion and has a high maximum operating temperature making it a very versatile magnetic material. Ferrite magnet discs are commonly used in fridge magnets and for craft making.  

The working temperatur of ceramic magntes is between the working temperatures of Neodymium Magnet and SmCo magnet/AlNiCo magnet. They have lower energy than NdFeB, SmCoand alnico magnets.  

Ceramic or Hard Ferrite Magnet comes in discs, cylinders, rings, blocks, arcs/segment, ball and ellipses etc. Magnetic ceramics, oxide materials that exhibit a certain type of permanent magnetization called ferrimagnetism. Commercially prepared magnetic ceramics are used in a variety of Permanent Magnet, transformer, telecommunications, and information recording applications.
