What is the Pump Magnet?

A Pump Magnet is a magnetic component that is used in pumps to attract and hold metallic particles or impurities in the fluid being pumped. It is usually placed in the pump's inlet or outlet to prevent these particles from entering the pump and causing damage to the impeller or other components. The pump magnet is made of a strong magnetic material such as ferrite magnet, and can be easily removed for cleaning and maintenance.

Pump magnet can be wildly used in Circulating pump,Filtration pump,Air Pump,Aquarium pump,Cooling fan pump,Drainage pump and so on.

As a professional manufacturer which devoted in magnetic materials for over 13 years, Hunan Yu Bang Magnetic Material Co., Ltd.supply the pump magnets in different style and size to meet different demands.

A pump magnet refers to a type of magnet used in pumps or magnetic drive pumps. These magnets are typically made of rare-earth materials, such as neodymium magnets, which have strong magnetic properties. In a magnetic drive pump, the pump impeller is driven by the magnetic field generated by the pump magnet rather than a direct mechanical connection. This design eliminates the need for a traditional shaft seal, resulting in a leak-free and more efficient pump. Pump magnets are commonly used in applications where preventing leaks or contamination is crucial, such as in chemical processing, pharmaceuticals, or food industries.
